I mentioned too that I have a picture of a streetcar on the bridge in Franklin
running on TC overhead, but it was taken in 1960 and the trackless vehicles were
not using it.  The negative wire had been hung two feet from the positive
trolley wire in anticipation of use later that year.  In the case of the picture
I have, it was months before it would be regularly used.

What line is it on?  Trolley coach overhead was installed by JTC line crews over
a long period of time prior to the conversion of the main routes from trolley to
TC in June 1960.   Just because trolleys were running on TC overhead does not
mean TCs could also use it ... that does not necessarily indicate that the job
was done.   I would expect they took some coaches out for tests in the last
weeks, however.  And I think that after the trolleys were silenced, the overhead
was repositioned in some places.
