[PRCo] A Little Off Topic (Pennsylvania Rail Fan Ray Whitter)

Hi All,

I just wanted to ask if any of you knew rail fan Ray Whitter, originally of
Scranton, then of Maryland. He was an Erie and later, an Erie-Lackawanna
fan. He worked for N.A.S.A. He was also a friend of Disney animator and rail
fan Ward Kimball. Ray enjoyed railfanning all over Pennsylvania and the Mid
Atlantic region and may have had ties to the Baltimore and D.C. trolley
museums.

Ray passed away in 1979. My wife has known his daughter, Wendy and her
husband, Keith for several years. It was only tonight that I discovered
Wendy's father was "one of us."  She plans to go through her father's
memorabilia to see if he has any photographs, slides, etc. relevant to our
interests.
