Because of problems with motors // transmission  --  we discussed this 
some time back.       Apparently current fleet is being sent out car by 
car to correct this and to upgrade as well.       Once that is complete 
then the system will be up to steam if you will and able to run 50-mph 
where such is possible.

Relative expensive for now but longevity of same will amortize the cost 
over Not A Few Years, Yes?       Although it sees Much Greater Use, or 
has, the current Mt.Washington tunnel was probably extremely expensive 
when it was built, but divvy that cost up over 100-years and what do we 
get.       Bob Dietrich might have some info on original costs.       
Would not be surprized if cars are relatively full by the time they 
reach Dormont, even with a shortened route.
