Fred,
The front bumpers of our cars are about 6" from the wall when the wheels
touch the blocks, so there's no danger of the blocks touching anything under
the car.
An interesting question about the weight of the Belgian blocks - I'll have
to go downstairs and weight one of them. They are very dense, and very
difficult to cut. I guess that they weigh as much as 6-8 bricks.
