I'm working toward a PhD in computer science at CMU (should be done
in about two years).  I live in Squirrel Hill, just a couple
minutes' walk from Forbes & Murray.

I visited Warsaw last year.  It's a proof-of-payment system, but I
never saw an inspector...  Warsaw's definitely worth a visit, there's
quite a variety of stock -- everything from ultramodern trams to
rattling artic buses that looked like they hadn't been painted in
decades.  Both the buses and trams stop infrequently and have more
sets of doors than is customary in the US, and it seems much more
efficient.
