A byproduct of your foresight was providing some of us younger fans with the
opportunity to experience air-electric PCCs in regular operation when we
were old enough to appreciate their characteristics.

And without having to travel all the way up to Boston. :-)

I know some of Atlanta's newest trolley coaches were built with ductwork for
A/C, but it was never installed. At least one etb, an older model, was
experimentally equipped with A/C. Nobody has ever told me how well the A/C
units installed on the Dallas etbs worked, nor how well the lone A/C
equipped Pittsburgh 4000 series PCC worked out.
