Key word here is local politics ... the route was being restored on the demands
of the city. SEPTA is taking all the flack. The local politicians (in a city
of this size each neighbohood has its own political hacks to whom you can run)
are helping SEPTA look bad and perhaps they deserve it for their handling of the
situation.
