Interesting points, Matt ---- but I am not overly
interested in this site and only go when someone makes reference to
same. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and Shawn Bennear is
entitled to his ---- does Not Make Shawn Correct.

My main premise remains -- Everything has trouble in
traffic, *maybe* TrolleyCars a little more trouble because of the fixed
guideway, but that was more of an excuse to get rid of TrolleyCars than
a reason. Easy to use that excuse, sounds good, not many will
argue, thus the point is *supposedly* won!

I share your nostalgia ---- I rode the cars to
Washington, Charleroi, McKeesport, North Side -- ALL except West
End. I have some extremely fond memories of the system. I
was Often in Downtown PM traffic ---- would go downtown to ride
Charlie Diehl Library Tripper out and back to the barn every day I got
the chance. Occasionally Charlie would sign on the Drake but not
often -- both of us preferred the open double track.
