But there ARE plans to put it back together.  It follows 4398 in the
restoration shop.  Expect activity on it to commence sometime in 2006.  4398
begins in May and should be about a 2-year process.

The really depressing part of the Fare was the insert with the picture of
the first three PTM cars being driven to the museum.  All three looked good,
but now 832 is in pieces and no plans to put it back together, M1 is just
shot, forever it seems, and 4398 is finally on its way but will be mostly a
replica - the only original pieces left will be the cast iron parts.  But
since I wasn't there in the beginning to help preserve these cars I am not
going to blame anybody for the deterioration.  I mean, its hard enough for
me to keep my patio and arbor in good shape, let alone 3 streetcars.
