West Penn 832 is a stand-alone restoration project. West Penn 739 will be
tidied up cosmetically for display in the new visitors' center. No schedule
is yet established for working on the cars that will go there. Some of them
will need a bit of work; some will need little.
Once we get everything in the blimp hangar this summer we can turn our
attention to other issues like the visitors' center. Actually, some of us
are rather busy on that project already...we are in the midst of the design
of the "permanent" exhibit, and will be undertaking a constructability
review of the building itself (as our needs and programs have changed since
the plans were first drawn) beginning mid-April. I don't have a lot of
detail on either subject at the present moment, though. It's going to be a
busy year.

Subject: [PRCo] Re: TROLLEY FARE
I am gratified to hear 832 will be put back together, and I am horrified
that I misidentified 3756 as 4398. My dad had a 4398 fixation - I have no
idea why - and I kinda inherited it. Now where does the 832 restoration
plans fall in with the West Penn Car (722 or 728 or something)? As I
understand it the big West Penn car will be cosmetically restored for
display, so will this be going on at the same time as 4398-832 or is it
later down the line?
