Attached is a scan of another post card (not copyrighted), this one =
depicting two Cy Hungerford cartoons to celebrate the re-opening of the =
Duquesne Incline in 1963. Cy was editorial cartoonist at the Pittsburgh =
Post-Gazette for many years, and he also liked to draw a "Toonerville =
Trolley", often as it related to declining trolley service.

The caption: "Twas indeed a sorry day, when due to neglect and financial =
stress the Duquesne Inclined Plane' was forced to close on November 21, =
1962. - But a fund raising campaign by the aroused citizenry supported =
by thousands of friends, reopened the Duquesne Incline on July 1, 1963. =
Cy Hungerford's cartoons tell their own story...Cartoons also available =
on 6x6 white ceramic tile, at the Incline."

Note the "Pittsburgh 11, Pa" address - the card was issued in mid-1963, =
right at the time when Zip Codes were first being introduced.
