I remember that Joe made the mistake of walking around Alexandria, Virginia, in
his undertakers attire (not a good thing), and was mugged and killed. I was in
the Tractioneers in DC at the time but he wasn't a member ... never met him. Of
course most of the locals knew him. Now, refresh my memory. When was he
killed? I want to say about 1969.
