Perhaps not a trolley farebox, but a bus farebox from a basement in 
Monroeville - maybe.  About a dozen fareboxes from Pittsburgh buses were 
given to Arden circa 1974 - for whatever use PTM could make of them.  
However the top looks like some of the Public Service fareboxes that 
migrated to PTM via Scranton in early 1980s.  (it's another long story)  
Let's just say that PTM has helped clean out a few basements over the years 
and leave it at that.  (:>)
