[PRCo] PCC's at PTM

    The operations manager and his assistant decided to not initial any
regular or student operator cards for PCC's for this year due to the myriad
of minor glitches of 1711 & 2711.  The instructor cards were initialed.
    The control systems on the back of an operator card include both PCC &
foot control.  With the roll out of Red Arrow 14 eminent, there will be
operation of this St Louis built car this summer.
    The big move of the cars to the trolley display building will take place
over an 8 day spread in early July.  Each car will be uncovered, dusted off
and trucked to the new building.
    After that, the only cars that will be visible to the public will be
832, 5326, 66, 78,14,  3756, 1711, 2711 & M210 in the old carhouse.  In the
restoration shop will be 4398 (the next project for completion) , 3618, M551
& M283.  The last three are work cars that will be residing out of the
weather.
    June 26th promises to be a busy day with the roll out of 14, the
dedication of the new loop and a car show.  I am preparing special music for
the day and hope to see many of you there.
