Hmmmmmmmmm!!

The people who wrote *People's__Railway* Are Muni
Insiders! Interesting that a companion book is called
*Inside__Muni* by a couple of the same authors!!!!!!! :-)
Complete Breakdowns Of PCCs Was THE order of the day in San
Francisco -- Service Was The Exception ---- thought I made that
rather plain in the examples that I gave. :-( I really don't have
the time to list every single one -- I have notes on many of the
experiences here in San Francisco -- it was an incredible mess.
And I shall Emphastically State that an extremely good case of
*Criminal__Neglect* could be made against SF-Muni of 1970--1982. :'(
Go Back And Read That Book which details the decrepit and unreliable
condition of the PCCs.

Not uncommon for Any Of Us to be biased toward our
favorite system and good old' Harre liked San Francisco and I Like Ike
:-) And Pittsburgh. Harre was not a liked person By Many around
San Francisco. :-( But Harre is comparing the SF cars to
({[pat]}) cars of 1969 -- NOT PRCo -- and after ({[pat]})
takeover, maintenance was non-existant until about 1971!!!!!!! It
Is Necessary To Remember That We ARE making a definite
distinction between PRCo and ({[pat]}) which is Often Very Much
Blurred here on this list.

Also forgot to mention in the previous post -- I probably
experienced 12-dewirements or not many more in all my time in Pgh. --
Saw That Many Each Day here in San Francisco Just On TrolleyCars, not
including Trolley Coaches!! And a wheel is prone to dewiring more
easily than a shoe.
