I'm going to the dedication ceremonies tomorrow (1st). Scott Becker and I
qualified for the "free" lunch that goes with this function because we
provided Port Authority some help in preparing for the opening.
I believe that service does begin on the 2nd, though there will be a day
this weekend (Sunday, I think) when free rides will be offered and PTM
operators will be on hand at each station to give out souvenir tickets.
Perhaps I'll know more when I get back from tomorrow's dog-and-pony show.
Meanwhile, fellow taxpayers, thanks for the "free" lunch!!! I'll also
probably go out Sunday to get some photos, if the weather cooperates.

Subject: [PRCo] Overbrook line reopening?
Supposedly, on the 2nd. Anyone plan to be there? I'm supposed to have a
meeting with my boss that afternoon but am checking to see if I can
reschedule, but I'm probably free much if not all of the day regardless
(unless other problems crop up Tuesday, but that's another story, and
beyond my control)
Anyone else planning to be around?
