Thanks for the clarification, John. So what was the largest number of
in-service PCCs in Toronto at one time?
I would guess that all 666 Pittsburgh PCCs were all in service at one point,
even counting the first one, which had been converted to an instruction car.
I believe Chicago had all of their 683 PCCs operating for a few brief years.
Two post war cars were wrecked during the early 1950s and, of course, the
recycling of components for the new "spam cans" (6000s) began in, what,
1953 or so?
