The unauthorized use of JFB photos is on Pages 171 (3703), 262 top (1179),
262 bottom (1288), 324 top (1795), 343 top (1605), 343 bottom (1560).

He also used, without authorization, p360 top (1556 by John Stern, a print
made by FWS), 375 top (1483, FWS), 377 (1477 FWS), 397 (1557/1287 and 1292 J
Wm Vigrass), 423 (1289, JWV), 440 (1603 FWS).

I did notice others that I have seen for sale by various individuals as
well, not credited to them.

None of my photos ever goes out without my name on them, so he is either
ignoring my copyright or has unauthorized copies. Fred also stamps his
views. The quality of most of my views was so bad that the latter is
possible - nonetheless he made no attempt to find out ownership, if that was
the case, and even told me so. It is possible that he made the unauthorized
copies himself from other prints so it could be claimed that no data was on
them - take note that I am not, however, claiming that was the case, as
there is no way to know. No one to whom I sold prints of these particular
views would copy them without my permission (yes, I DO know everyone who
gets my views, there's a looooong list that was started in 1968).

Had he bothered to ask me in advance I probably would have provided photos
at little cost. After I complained and presented my standard publications
fees, he declined to pay, then had the absolute gall to ask me to contribute
photos to his next two books and royalties were NOT suggested.

Whenever the next ones come out there'd better not be any of my stuff in
them. I won't let it drop this time and there will be action taken.
