You'll freeze in SacraTomato in the winter. Ocean keeps the coast
cool in summer and warm in winter -- go a few miles away and temps are
more *-Normal-* -- even in San Diego! Downtown San Diego is
quite tolerable in winter but go several miles inland and it is bitter
cold. San Francisco might drop into the 40s, high 40s, in winter
but the valleys are Easily in the 30s. Christmas 1998 was the most
bitter winter in SF in my 30-years here.

My brother is 30-miles south in the hills of Woodside with Very Large
Hills/Mountains between him and the sea -- Definitely warmer in summer
and colder in winter -- will sometimes be ice at his place in winter
when I leave -- have only seen ice once or twice in SF and Frost only
once!

San Joaquin Valley quite cold in winter.

My parents lived in Murrietta southeast of San Berdoo and Riverside from
1989 till 1998 -- quite cold at night in the winter -- days could be
pleasantly warm.

Have passengers from Sac who still have family there who want to return
there. Glad someone does, but I don't!
