This Is Interesting! I knew about the Expo in the Marina and that
some / most of the land is filled in marsh -- but didn't know the expo
was to celebrate recovery from the 1906!

Marina is known as Cow Hollow -- figure this is the setting for the
Home of Mama -- Peggy Wood of I Remember Mama fame! Distinctly
remember one of the Rellies living on Steiner Street -- one of the
kids called on the phone with the classic joke asking if Steiner ran in
front of the house and they better get out there and stop it from
running or such!

The movie shows them to be living on the hills near the cable line --
TV series didn't show much outside. But TV had the barn animals
talking at Christmas time -- Cows and such! So Cow Hollow seems
like a likely place for the Family to Live! Peggy Wood much like
Kate Smith -- very easily endeared to the hearts of All -- Very Fond
Memories of that program and especially enjoyed Peggy in Sound of Music!
