I believe that only those PAT 1400s that were painted in advertising schemes
were treated to the grey and white repaint.  1478 comes to mind.  I was off
at college in those years and wasn't paying attention to such things!

Forty-five cars were retired by PAT; fifty-five were retired by
Pittsburgh Railways.   There is no implication in the previous
sentence about paint schemes.   Ask John Bromley; he keep track of
such things.
