As I remember from talking to people at Johnstown during a mid 1962 visit, JTC forces were scrapping the PCCs on a time-available basis, crating the electrical equipment and trucks for shipment to Brussels, and hauling the stripped bodies away. I didn't stay long because I was expecting company at home, and there was also a female type being attracting me. I didn't even take time to take a picture or two of a trolley bus.
