Pg.39 of Volkmer's Color book on Pgh. Region shows a map of JTC with 
double track from Washington and Walnut crossing the Conemaugh River, 
passing under the PRR while running on the northeast side of the river 
and then crossing the river again to the traditional alignment    
----    this in addition to the standard alignment on the south west of 
the river.

Did this actually exist?       If yes, when was it discontinued and why?
