Here's a few from photos:

Charles at Grimes 
Middle Ave at 1st Street, Wilmerding
Liberty at PRR station (pre-1960?)
Spring Garden near Constance 

In the photos none of these streets are lined with
stores.

I consider curb running along streets in the PCC era
as being a uniquely Pittsburgh characteristic.
