Yes, we already discussed this and those who have experience with this 
on other split lists said that even though the topics change the 
individuals will not change lists    ----    and that works both ways    
----    people can start writing about TrolleyCars on the Off-Topic list 
and not change.       It was decided that changing the subject line was 
the best idea    ----    but even That Does Not Work    ----    even 
those who most bitterly complain about subject line change don't do so 
themselves.

Then there are those who, when the email  IS  Definitely  On  Topic, 
will bitterly complain because the particular aspect of the topic is not 
of interest!       Do we split the list into Sub-On-Topic?       Where 
does it end?!?!

THE   BULK   of the  OT  items most recently have been little more than 
opinions based on personal experience    ----    get 1,000-people and we 
can have 5,000 different opinions!!!!!!!         This Gets Mighty Old 
Mighty Fast.       During the most recent o-t discussions, the old 
proverbs tell us that the writer is telling us far more about self than 
others.
