1711 came to PTM with the blue interior. It didn't go away until the car
was redone at Elmira a couple years ago.

Subject: [PRCo] 1711
I recently sent Ed 3 slides which I acquired for PTM to keep.
It took me quite some time to find photos of 1711 in the final livery
of o/w/o AND in service. A question came to me about this final
livery. 1711 was painted in the second scheme(gray#2) in 1966. With
this came a repainted interior and new seat colors(covers?).
The interior was painted a shade of blue of which I don't know
the technical name. My question is this: Was the interior color of
1711 still this shade of blue when it was repainted to o/w/o in
1975? Did it arrive at PTM this way? Anyone know the technical name
of this color? Thanks!
Mark
PS- My SPTC 1711 which is painted in gray#2 is perfect! Even the
interior is painted correctly.
