That reminds me. In North Vandergrift a building at the foot of the
ramp coming down from the bridge still has a plaque marking the 1936
flood level. I went through there a few months ago and the marker was
still there. It's in the side of the building away from and parallel
to the river, near the front corner of the building.

As I recall, it's 15 or so feet above the local ground level.
