Broken hanger / span  ((on curve strung only for pans))  not noticed by 
operator will  *probably*  cause dewirement of pan  --  with pan being 
ripped off the roof of the trolleycar!!!!!!!D>       Can We Really Call 
them  *TrolleyCars*  If  They  Have  Pans??!!:D>


Pan  *Requires*  overhead in Far Better Condition than that required for 
trolley pole  --  pan is very slow to react to changes in wire height or 
other conditions  --  pan will resist wire suddenly dropping lower which 
could potentially dmage pan, and will skip off the wire that rises too 
fast  --  LOTS  of bounce on pans here in SF at grade changes.
