I'll wade in on this with my unconfirmed hearsay - my Mom told me. The
line was extended and the dip in Grandview Ave. at Shaler St. was raised
to accommodate PCCs. So, 1936?

Subject: [PRCo] Mt. Washington
Hello, I was looking at some photos of Grandview Avenue, Mt. Washington
at
the Historic Pittsburgh Image Collections Site. In the pictures dated
1928, the Mt Washington line appears to terminate at the Duquesne
Incline.
I was wondering what year it was extended and the loop installed.
Thanks
Ray
