BTW, speaking of feeders, what was up with that segment of the Carrick line
with all that feeder cable on both sides of the street? Just near a
substation?
I possess a couple pairs of Pittsburgh feeder cable brackets. Each half
weighs forty pounds. So imagine the strains placed upon a pole with three
sets of feeder brackets, holding three or four feeders each, plus supporting
a share of the span and running wires.
