Ohh, yes, wasn't it southside of Forbes/Diamond between Smithfield and Wood?
Kauffman's, at Forbes and Smithfield was where I usually would catch a 64
car, (to get a seat and get a longer ride) and there is a vague recollection
of the closed Casino building in early 1960s.

Wasn't there a camera store on Smithfield around Forbes or Fourth? Eiben
and Irr????? or something like that??? Or was it Peerless?? (which is
where (Smithfield St.) I bought my first 35mm camera at age 15) Or was
Eiben and Irr (??sp??) on Liberty - somewhere around 10th, which was
location with better film prices and slide storage trays. Can I blame this
lack of recall on having a senior moment (:>)

Ohhhh, you want a connection to this ramblings, Derrick?? Camera was bought
to take pictures of trolleys <gg>

The only image I can recall of riding the other side of the 64s city loop on
Fourth St. is "dreary". And slow. Guess it was mostly soot covered
office/commercial buildings on Fourth???
