Greetings
PAT in the late 1960's was a good bus operator but a
poor rail operator. Bus maintenance went up but needed
the new garages of the 70's to be even better. Rail maintenance
was little better than PRC. It took the arrival of Ken Hussong
as PAT mntc mgr with the support of Joh n Mauro and I
to turn it around. Ken was a bus guy who turned out to be
good rail guy and a wonderfull manager. He came frlom
Intercity suburban NY buses in Paterson. NJ When he
left PAT, he ended up running the Wyoming Ave shops of
SEPTA and finally retired when he was in his 70's. I went
to his retirement .lunch. He lives in Plano Texas now.
