Blaine Hays was an employee of Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) in the Marketing Dept and also Maintainance Dept. He recently retired and lives in the 'Old Brooklyn' district of Cleveland. With James Toman he co-authored "Cleveland's Transit Vehicles" and "Horse Trails to Regional Rails -- The Story of Public Transit In Greater Cleveland." Both books are an excellent history of Cleveland public transit. He also authored several smaller books on Cleveland transit history.
