Blaine is indeed doing a book.  I have supplied images from the PTM Library and have been asked to look at the manuscript (which hasn't come my way yet).

I have not heard anything of Blain doing a book on Pittsburgh, however, I could ask him if you are really interested.

I would doubt that anyone at Pittsburgh Railways Company knew Blain Hays. Although retired, he is not that old.
