I know that it is dangerous. There is nothing to lose (from PhDr) and the
list does not know the point of my comment, so if PhDr makes any nasty
comment, it is only HIS problem ;-)

As for that smell of rubber from 1727 before the final derailment... It
could be from brake lining which contained rubber.
