I may have this wrong, but IRM initially acquired an ex-KCPS PCC from Muni.
Muni had acquired the car from the TTC. The car was deemed too deteriorated
to justify a restoration, so it was stripped for parts and scrapped. A
better ex-KCPS PCC was then acquired from SEPTA (it was SEPTA's 2267) and is
undergoing a restoration to KCPS condition. IRM also has an ex-Cleveland PCC
(a Pullman, Cleveland Transit System 4223.) I do not know if the
ex-Cleveland car came directly from the TTC or if it was one of the cars
sent to Shaker Heights from Toronto. I seem to remember reading in "Rail and
Wire" that 4223 was receiving extensive sheet metal replacement.
To get back on topic, the 2267 ran on the same rails as 2711 and 2711 now
runs on the same rails as 1711, which is originally from Pittsburgh.... :-)
