The following destination is correct:
http://world.nycsubway.org/perl/show?14231  --  There were several 1100s 
that had the  *-experimental-*  air vents like 1161  --  1169,  1170,  
1171  were possible others  (thought I remembered only 3 so one of the 
numbers could be wrong.)       All were in the South Hills in 
1950s.       One of them, or possibly two, had three scoops  --  two 
before trolley cowl and one after.       Rectangular in shape as opposed 
to the arc on the 15s and 16s.
