I have not heard of any displaced citizens from the Gulf Coast here in
Armstrong County.  I do know the chair of the music department at IUP lost
her family home, her mother died from stress and is still trying to locate
some other family members who were displaced.

What would make a lack of citizens any reason to not have public transit?
Our tax dollars support the busses that run empty through Kittanning and
Ford City everyday.  They certainly look nice, but I never see anyone on
them.  It sure makes things look good though as our local politicos can say
we have mass transit when there are no masses and no where to transport
them!

In the past two months we have had a mother attempt to steal her neighbors'
unborn baby (her older son goes to our school) and over the weekend one
junior high student soaked another with rubbing alcohol and set him on fire.
I have always wondered what was in the water.
