TrolleyCars could still use Fifth and Forbes in the direction of traffic
and abandon the opposing direction of track!

Some politico is trying to revive *-Streetcars-* in the Forbes //
Fifth corridor -- anymore news on this??

They tried to -*Legislate-* East Liberty into a Pedestrian Mall and
that failed. The rehab of the near North Side failed as
well. It's possible to *-Legislate-* anything as a tourist
attraction but will the tourists follow?

What would the attraction be for tourists on the 39-Brookline? I
can see it from the railfans view but not the general tourist.

We *-Did-* have a big discussion on this a number of years back.
Ray Lattner suggested an Hysterical TrolleyCar line along East Carson -
I suggested combining it with the 49-//-40 lines. Much *talk*
ensued about What Should Be Done. I suggested that we stop talking
and start organizing to make something happen ---- the Thread Went
Dead Immediately!
