Am I missing something? Where's the Bourbon Street in
Pittsburgh? Is it 80 degrees in the South Hills in
April? There's a little more than the streetcars in
the New Orleans tourism mix. It takes more than a
trolley line to draw tourists.
But, one line that might have worked was Mt.
Washington, taking people up to all the restaurants
with the view of the Golden Triangle and offering
connections with the inclines.
I have doubts about some lines like39_Brookline and
21-Fineview even. The railfans loved it, but what
would attract other people up there? It's all houses
isn't it?
