The streetcar itself used to draw at least some tourists to Pittsburgh, 
I have been told by more than one person over time, when other cities 
had abandoned their routes..  I was thinking of the connection to the 
zoo when I thought of a line from town to the Highland Park area.
Well, if nothing else, this thread certainly drew a lot of conversation.
