[PRCo] PERC incorporation

I've been away from the computer this week, and am just now reading five days worth of e-mails.
A list member - Fred Schneider, I think - asked about the incorporation date of the Pittsburgh Electric Ry. Club (now PTM).
The PERC logo contained the date "1953", and I always assumed that was the year of incorporation.  

In the 1950's and into the early 60's, PERC sent post cards to members announcing upcoming fantrips on PRC and JTC.  They were simply typewritten cards and sent out a few weeks before each fantrip, stating the routes to be covered, lunch stop and cost of the trip - anywhere from $4 to $6.  I donated my fantrip post cards to PTM (PRMA at that time) when I moved to Chicago in 1983.
