You may eggspect anything you like, Sir, howsomever.......

I was onboard 1619 on Library AM rush when 17xx-(city car tripper) in
front went dead inbound of Mesta. We pushed ALL the way to SHJ
Through Sidings on Overbrook With Pimples On Board ---- have
a few photos somewhere ---- Never had passengers in SF.

M--A--N--Y times here in SF I have pushed another PCC All The Way
Back To The barn. It was Such A Frequent Happening that the Tow
car Could NEVER keep up with the demand!!!!!!!

I was in training, Hal Blatch was Operator // Instructor, AM rush hour
Inbound at Taraval and 19th and the car in front goes dead. I am
in The Seat and Hal allows me to do all work including moving the car
UpGrade (6-8%) to connect tow bar (All Fingers for All Parties InTact
and Totally UnHarmed!) ALL of us then spread sand on the rails
(sanders on cars didn't work) and it took 3-trys to get across 19th
-- Main Street to Golden Gate Bridge and Super Heavy Traffic!
Then on to double track through wye at West Portal then outbound over
K-Ingleside to Barn.

Anudder time in AM rush outbound on Church just past Market the car in
front goes dead - we hook up and start moving - only 2-3 cars behind us
and 4 of 5 lines share this trackage. Then DUMB Inspector
comes along and tries to flag us down so he can write info -- we are
already rolling. I wouldn't stop - why do so for simple paper work
- they can do so at barn - Central was phoned and they also have
info. Well, he pulled in front of us and forced us to stop!
He was on board of Credit Union and is BIG reason I never joined
same! Up 17th, through 2mile Twin Peaks Tunnel, West Portal, and
out to barn.
