Not if you are on the crew John.   The first accident that the new  
management of the Strasburg Rail Road had to contend with in 1958 or  
1959 was a man who was driving along Pa 741 outside of Strasburg PA  
and elected to drive past two railroad men with blazing fusees and  
under a railroad boxcar.    As I recall, his action separated the  
brain housing group from the rest of the body.

The most common accident on that railroad was really nothing  
outstanding.  The did, however, keep a doctor on call to handle  
cinders in the eyes.  They were pretty much routine.
