The fares changed from time to time, especially after the Second War. If
Jerry will give me a time frame, I'll go to the tariffs and get him an
answer.

Zone fares ranged from 3.5 cents in 1941 to 6 or 8 cents at the end, I
think.

Being new to the group, I look forward to any topic from the "pittsburgh
railways" group, I am going to bring one up that I haven't read anything
about. That is the "fares" for riding the various lines in Pittsburgh and
the Interurbans lines to Charleroi and Little Washington? In as much as I
was just
a little kid riding say the Donora car to Monongahela and then riding the
interurban into Pittsburgh.
May sound "like a dingy question" but I want to know and I know there are
guys in this group that have that knowledge. I am just thankful as a
little kid I was able to ride these "historic" lines
