The 3700s came out of service sometime in 1950.  November, maybe?

If my memory (now most of you are saying Jerry is el nutto)  I believe it
was a 1700 series car,
the reason I know it was a PCC, as someone who rode to Monongahela / to
Charleroi, I remember
the grandeur of the 3700 series cars that also were running, and the image
of the car being in
Donora remains constant in my mind (53 years later!)  It was a PCC!
