The  West  Penn  700s  used Dynamic Braking to slow the car And to 
generate current to operate magnetic track brakes  --  the friction 
brake was cranked on and off by the motorman to complete the stop and 
hold the car.       Air Compressor Not Used on these Cars  --  the WP 
700s were All-Electric!!!!!!!


Cheeze  Whiz,  Ken,   EveryOne  <Knows>  that the WP 700s  Were // Are  
The Inspiration and Model for the modern PCC Car.       Why don't we see 
this in print, on the Inet, anywhere else?! :-) ?!? ;-) !?! :-D 
?!?!       We better get busy and inform everyone!!!!!!!       Our Work 
Is Cut Out For Us!!!!!!!
