The largest single source of photos was Charlie Dengler.   As I  
stated before, they were all accidentally sold by Bob Brown's widow  
because Brownie neglected to refile them.   Therefore they are not in  
the library.

Sadly I borrowed all the strange stuff to print ... the odd PCC  
trucks, those Jones cars with VA control, etc., etc., etc.   And  
those negative envelopes were never filed back with the rest of the  
negatives.   And if Dengler had any additional negatives or prints,  
he kept them in the same envelopes.   So any extras are gone too.

Accidents happen.

That could have been corrected if I had refiled the negatives, but  
one just cannot barge into Brownie's home, take over his evening, and  
say, "I'm filing those negatives now, and then you can do what you  
planned to do tonight."
