I just wanted to let you all know that I've officially declared the
Junction FINISHED. The only thing I could possible add are the high
voltage power lines. Yes Ken, I still have the cross arm plans and I
intend to make a pattern and cast a bunch - someday. But modeling those
heavy wires with the insulation falling off will be a challenge.
Since our club and I have received all the accolades
("http://www.eastpenn.org/photos_06nmra.html" click the top picture,
that's me on the left) at he NMRA train show, it is time to move to a
new endeavor. I have started on an extension that will give me storage
for as many cars as I'll ever have as well as a loop so I can set up and
run on my own if necessary.
It won't take long to get this one operational but the way I move it may
take years to complete. I have to make all my own turnouts - at least
16 of them. I don't plan on tracking the progress on a web site, it was
too much hassle, but I will keep you guys up to date if you want it or
not.
Speaking of web sites I'll be updating the SHJ site in the fall. Unisys
is going to let me retire so I'll have a little time on my hands for
awhile. Hmmm, maybe it won't take years to finish the module extension.
Current plans are to set up at PTM again this year on Sept. 10. If
you're around stop by and say hello.
Bob
