[PRCo] Drake 1972 breakdown

Mark,
I believe that the attached photo of 1760 is the one you are referring to. 
I took this photo of 1760 inbound near Avon Lane, where it broke down during 
the morning rush hour on August 8, 1972 .  Passengers were allowed to get 
off while we awaited an outbound car to push us to backward to Brookside 
passing siding.
Outbound 1713 did the pushing, and left 1760 in the siding while it (1713) 
went out to Drake, came inbound to Brookside and pushed 1760 to SHJ. 
Passengers stayed on 1760 for the entire ordeal.  I think my ride downtown 
that day consumed more than two hours.

I took other slides of this procedure, but I'll have to look them up and 
re-scan them.

In that era, Drake riders were treated to breakdowns on a regular basis - at 
least one a month - and so I started to carry a camera on my trips to work 
downtown.
